About InStep Podiatry

InStep Podiatry has grown and evolved since principal Podiatrist Steve Lynch arrived in Australia from Canada in 1992.

Mr. Lynch trained in Chiropody in Toronto, Canada, graduating in 1991. He gained extensive experience working for the Ontario Government and in private clinics across Toronto, Brantford, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.

He moved to Innisfail, North Queensland, in 1992 and soon began providing podiatry services throughout the region, including Tully, Innisfail, Atherton, Babinda, Cairns, Mareeba, Mossman, and the Cairns Diabetes Centre.

For 18 years, Mr. Lynch served as the consultant Podiatrist for the Cairns Base Hospital High Risk Foot Clinic, when in 2019 Mr. Lynch moved his focus to provide specialised podiatry services delivering specialised diabetic foot care for patients from Thursday Island to Cardwell.

Our Clinic Today

Mr. Lynch is a sole practitioner, offering regular clinics in:

• Innisfail – Wednesday weekly (additional days on request)

• Cairns – Tuesday and Thursday weekly (additional days on request)

Early morning, late afternoon, and early evening appointments are available for patient convenience.
