At In Step Podiatry, we use the latest orthotic technology to create devices tailored to your footwear and lifestyle. We can design orthotics for work boots, ski boots, football boots, court shoes and even high heels, ensuring comfort and support no matter what you wear. We use the latest scanning technology and also use Australian based labs to provide the orthotic devices.

At In Step Podiatry, our team provides expert nail care that goes beyond a simple trim. We are trained to safely cut, file, shape and clear the nails to maintain healthy feet and prevent issues from developing. This level of care is especially important for patients with diabetes or poor circulation, where incorrect nail cutting can lead to infections, ulcers or other complications. Education regarding daily and preventative care are paramount for all patients

These lesions can usually be removed easily and with minimal discomfort. At In Step Podiatry, we not only treat the corn or callus itself but also assess the underlying cause. This is important because these lesions often return if there is ongoing pressure, friction or abnormal foot mechanics contributing to the problem.
-
Ingrown toenails are common and very painful, often caused by poor nail cutting or minor injury. Many cases can be treated quickly in a single appointment.
When needed, In Step Podiatry provides a minor procedure under local anaesthetic to remove the problematic edge of the nail and prevent it from growing back. No skin is cut and no sutures are required, which means minimal discomfort and fast healing, with most patients returning to work or school straight away.

Pain in the feet, heels or arches is often caused by poor footwear, long hours on your feet or underlying biomechanical issues. You don’t need to put up with discomfort just because of your job, sport or daily activities.
At In Step Podiatry, we use advanced gait analysis and clinical expertise to assess how you stand and walk. This allows us to create a personalised treatment plan that relieves your symptoms and helps prevent future problems. Sometimes that pain in your leg, knee or back can, in part, be caused by poor biomechanics in your feet!

Steve has a strong clinical interest in diabetes management. He has worked with a specialised Diabetic Centre in Canada and served as a consultant podiatrist for the High Risk Foot Clinic at the Cairns Base Diabetes Centre.
On a personal note, Mr. Lynch is Type 2 Diabetic, with some complications in his feet so he knows first hand what can go wrong!
At In Step Podiatry, diabetic foot care includes routine nail and skin treatment, assessment of nerve function and circulation, and education on daily care and prevention. Supporting patients to understand and manage their foot health is a key part of every consultation.

At In Step Podiatry, we see patients of all ages, and many parents bring in their children when they notice something unusual about their feet or the way they walk. We assess for current issues and identify any potential future problems early.
Treatment is only recommended when necessary, and in most cases intervention begins around age six, depending on the condition. Our goal is to ensure healthy development and provide guidance that supports your child’s long-term foot health.

Excellent podiatrist care - had several ingrown toenails professionally done. The provider was knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive to my concerns. Treatment was effective, and the follow-up guidance was very helpful. I’m extremely satisfied with my experience.
